Shri Jayantilal Hirachand Sanghvi Gujarati Innovative College Of Commerce and Science is a new branch of Shri Gujarati Samaj, a highly dedicated and renowned social organization of the city. Gujarati Samaj Education Society established S.J.H.S.I.C.C.S. college in 2006, which is an important identity belonging to the Gujarati Samaj Indore. SJHS Gujarati Innovative College Of Commerce and Science is located in the prime location of Indore, near Bombay hospital with large campus.
The college is affiliated to Devi Ahliya VishwaVidhyalaya and is recognized under the UGC 2f category with the state of the art infrastructure. It is a co-ed college, equipped with all facilities as per UGC norms.
The college is providing professional and traditional courses in English medium for the students who have completed their prior education in commerce and science streams. The location and educational environment of the institute enable to procure knowledge and quality education. With the innovative ideas and ways of education we are providing opportunities and competitive environment so that students imbibe knowledge and upgrade themselves to the technology with the state of art facilities.
Along with the innovative education system we are concerned to cater for moral values, ethics and cultural heritage amongst students. Our aim is to develop their personality with work culture, social justice, morality and sensitivity toward environment.
College currently runs 4 Undergraduate course (B.com, B.Sc , BBA, BCA) and 5 Postgraduate Course (M.Com., M.sc Microbiology, M.sc Biotech, M.sc chemistry , M.sc Computer Science) courses educating more than 2500 students. UGC NAAC recently accredited B grade with 2.81 CGPA giving a new honored facet to the college.
Recently college has also introduced B.A course with sociology, History and Political Science combination.

Society through quality Education
Shri Gujarati samaj, a well known for quality education, has a golden history in the field of education .it has been serving the society in the field of education since 92 years. The dream of a few Gujarati families to educate their own children gradually became a dream for whole of the society and became a reality in the form of Shri Gujarati Samaj. The institution which was limited to a single room has now a become large institution owing three large campus.
At present, Shri Gujarati Samaj is serving the population of Indore as a dedicated educational and social organization. There are 9 colleges and 6 schools run by Shri Gujarati Samaj with around 1250 teachers and other employees where 24168 students are studying for their better future. It is a Metter of pride for the samaj at the stars of Gujarati are sparkling at the top position. For the convenience of school student Shri Gujarati Samaj is running 72 buses mostly at every route of city.
Along with the traditional courses, Samaj is also conducting to the medical, professional and B.Ed courses. To educate students in the medical field Shri Gujarati Samaj is running a college named as SKRP Gujarati Homeopathy Medical College and Research Centre.
In 2005, the Samaj Started a B.Ed college to contribute more in the area of education. Moreover, in 2006, Shri Gujarati Samaj also started a new college for which Shri Deepchandbhai Gardi Parmarthik Charitable Trust has donated Rs.21 Lakhs in the memory of Late. Shri Jayantibhai Sanghvi. Now this college is known as Shri Jayantilal Hirachand Gujarati Innovative College of Commerce & Science to educate students with aim to make them perfect professional with social and ethical values. Similarly in 2007 keeping in view in the importance of pharmacy, the Samaj opened a pharmacy college and for the name of this college Nutanben Mansukhbhai Turkhiya Gujarati Public Trust, Mumbai donated a sum of Rs. 22,61,000/-. Today it is named as Smt. Nutanben Mansukhbhai Turkhiya Gujarati College of Pharmacy.
Apart from the educational activities, Shri Gujarati Samaj is also working for the social cause of society. Samaj organizes various linguistic and cultural exchange programs which serve as link between the Gujarat and M.P. for the for the Gujarati travelers coming from various parts of India, Shri Gujarati Samaj has established a Guest House where 200 persons can be accommodated at a time. It has 20 AC rooms and 2 Dormitories. Shri Gujarati Samaj has also built two banquet halls for various social programs. Along with the Guesthouse Samaj has opened a health centre (GYM) which is equipped ultra modern machines. Under the banner of Homeopathy College 8 OPDs are being operated where the treatment is given at minimum charge.
Shri Gujarati Samaj also understands its duty towards women. To make Guajarati women self-dependent samaj is providing free sewing training and machines where 1177 women have taken benefit.
Shri Gujarati Samaj provides financial help for higher education to the Gujarati students and waives the fees of other needy students.
The medical facilities are also being provided for Guajarati’s. As well as the senior persons whose age is over 65 years, Rs. 500/- per month and over 75 years Rs. 600/- per month are given together in every three months.
Samaj also provides the financial aid of 15000/- to the needy families for the marriage of their daughters.
